Coastal Protection Matters

The DCPA has requested from the City of Greater Geraldton an update on the progress and planned spend of the funding allocated from the State Government to Drummond Cove for Coastal Protection works. The city has replied — we have a few suggestions of how that money can be allocated to complement our long-term Design Guidelines and Master Plan (CofGG/Council endorsed).

Fantastic work by Heather Beswick!

A huge thankyou is long overdue to Heather Beswick for her continued efforts to bring positive change to our community. Heather has spearheaded a successful campaign to get funding for artwork at the John Batten Hall. Fantastic artwork is coming soon from long-time Drummond Cove supporter Phil Doncon, who designed our logo back in the early 2020's. Well done Heather!

New Meeting Format — Sunday Sundowners

As a committee we have decided to move to a new format of Sunday evening Sundowner's — ensuring we can get through the business agenda and still have time to socialise and connect as a community. This builds on the success of our Sunset Drinks events in 2024/2025. The first Sunday Sundowner is on 12th April at John Batten Hall.
